EcoloBlue 28 Atmospheric Water Generator Review

I recommend purchasing these machines straight from the manufacturer, he'll give you all the info you need and it is less expensive.Just google "precipitation water generators".The man is brilliant and is inventing simply amazing things, such as these water generators.

I searched for years to figure out how to filter out all the chemicals, metals, bacteria, prescription medications, ect. that is contaminating the municipal drinking water.This is it.The filtration process in this unit alone is probably enough to filter out most everything from the city drinking water, but even better; since the water you'll be drinking comes from the humidity, none of that junk is there to begin with.

The higher the humidity level in your area, the quicker and more efficiently it will make water.

It took a while to get the new appliance smell out of the drinking water but after that, the water coming from it was, without a doubt, the cleanest tasting drinking water I've ever tasted.My friend told me it was like drinking snow and I know it's even better than that.

However, I speak of the unit in past tense because currently I am not using it.Unfortunately, I let mine sit for quite some time and mold grew in the collection tank.The unit cycles the water to keep it purified, but when there is enough mold growing it just can't be filtered well enough and it mold gets in your glass.
For this reason, I had originally planned to rate this appliance with four stars.But to downplay such an amazing piece of equipment because of my own neglect is arrogantly ignorant.So my suggestion: Use it and follow the recommended cleaning instructions.

If I could make one improvement to this machine it would be to have an option to keep the unit on but be able to turn off the water production.

Multitec Ion Air Purifier Review

Bought three of these based on reviews from their own website. Should have known better. My air conditioner filters more particulate. The filter intake barely could hold a tissue in place, so you can tell there is really not much volume passing through. The fans are not strong enough to pull air through the filter. The filter medium is just too thick and air does not easily pass through. The ozone feature deoderizes, but I wanted air purification. We noticed no difference in air quality. Go with a better known brand like the Hamilton Beach. To the reviewer who suggested the filter cover may not have been removed - the perforated cover was removed.

Assembly only took about an hour with a bunch of kids running around and rushing me. I didnt even have to watch the dvd that came with it to figure it out. I'm female & 4' 11". Got it filled with 2 garden hoses in about 8 hours. I did put carpet under it just in case there were small pebbles I might have missed. I put it on concrete instead of grass and the ground is slightly unlevel, but pool is holding up fine. After a few days of pool use and hardly any chemicals since I was still waiting for them to be delivered, the water got a little cloudy. As soon as I received my checmicals kit, I shocked it with 2/3 cup of chlorine and added PH minus to bring it to the right level. After just 5 hours, the pool now looks nice & clean again except for the leaves that fell to the bottom which I will vacuum with my automatic pool cleaner. The vacuum given with the pool is really cheap and hard to use for me since I am petite, so I bought an automatic cleaner which is $[...] at "[...]", but it's going to save me a lot of time and aggravation. The ladder is narrow and is also a bit shaky, but it does hold up just fine also. This is the 1st time I've ever left a review, but I thought it was neccessary since there are a lot of people who complain that it is hard to setup and keep up. I am the laziest person in the world and I've managed to keep it up. That's just how easy it is. Hope this review helps.

Austin Air Allergy Machine Review

I live in an apartment and a few months ago I got new neighbors in the apartment below. They smoke constantly and often have parties with 8-10 people in a tiny apartment all smoking all night. The building is old, the smoke comes through not only the ventilation system, but directly through the floors and fills my apartment with the disgusting stench of Environmental Tobacco Smoke (ETS). This unit saved me from having to move. It's that good.

The HEGA filter is particularly good at removing gas molecules and thus odors and ETS. I have allergies, but they're manageable - I bought this primarily for odor and ETS control and to that end, it works perfectly.

It's much quieter than I though possible for something that moves so much air. Even on the highest setting, I can easily sleep in the same room with it. Some may be more sensitive to noise, but it's much quieter than some IQAir models that I've heard. On the lowest setting, it's barely audible.

I keep the unit in a largish living room/dining room/kitchen area in my one bedroom apartment and it cleans the air effectively. When combined with the air circulation of my AC unit, it does a great job of filling the apartment with clean, smoke free air.

The filters are extremely effective and come with a five-year warranty. If you live in a particularly polluted environment and your filter doesn't last five years, Austin Air will give you a discount on a replacement filter proportional to the length of its life. Portable Reverse Osmosis Water System Four Stage 100 GPD Removes Fluoride Review

I got this RO unit for my apartment because I don't have counter space for another appliance and undersink installation is an expensive hassle. I thought it fit the bill perfectly.
First thing that happened was that it shipped without the faucet adapter that was supposed to be included. When I requested that, it did fit on my faucet, but then I discovered my water pressure wasn't enough for the gauge to even get up to the "operating" range. OCCASIONALLY at random points during the day or night it might just pass the "operating" line but it is unpredictable.
I tried to use it anyway since I spent the money and I figured some filtering is better than none, but it takes about half an hour to fill a liter bottle. In addition, the diverter valve doesn't work, at least on mine. If I leave the valve on my faucet, it runs a trickle through the RO unit too. Considering that the instructions warn not to run hot water through the unit or it will completely ruin the membrane, I couldn't leave the diverter valve on my faucet since I use hot water for dish washing, etc.. That means every time I want to use the unit, I have to remove the faucet aerator with a wrench, attached the RO diverter valve with a wrench (has to be tight or it will leak unfiltered water into your container despite the rubber seal), wait half an hour for a drink, remove the diverter valve and replace the faucet aerator for normal dish washing, etc..

All in all it is so much of a hassle I just don't use it and it is currently wasting space in a cabinet. If you truly don't have the space for any type of normal RO unit (e.g. in an RV) then this might be your only option. If you want filtered water that you don't have to fight for, then I would recommend a better designed unit.

AquaScape Tape Primer Review

This is more like a contact cement than a "primer".I used it with some of the double sided tape sealer to join my pond liner.You can find directions on the Internet, but basically I poured some of this on one of those abrasive scrubber pads, and scrubbed the area to be joined (both edges of the liner).This insures the primer adheres very well to the liner.Then I unrolled the double sided tape, leaving the paper on one side still.This was on top of a 2x4, so the liner was flat and even.Then I folded the other liner on top of the tape (which also had the primer on it), and pulled the paper off the tape.Then I pushed the liner smooth together with my hands, then used a heavy roller to push the liners together hard.I can't imagine it will ever leak.

L Equip FilterPro Food Dehydrator Review

Nice unit, smartly designed and easy to use. I'm primarily making beef jerky, and trying different recipes is a lot of fun. I got unit for Christmas and have made 5 batches of jerky. Loved doing it and the jerky was I have to admit is very good.

That last batch of jerky was where my problem started, about an hour before the jerky was finished the dehydrator started completely losing power. Fan would shut off, the LEDs went off, but a rap on the side would get it to run for a while. I had to do this a couple of times got that batch of jerky finished.

I called Kitchen Resources (the number on the enclosed warranty information) and told them what was happening. They told me they would send me a new base (it was all I needed the rest is trays, lid, etc., no moving parts). Well a few days later a whole new units shows up, I swapped out the base units, (I really fought the urge to take additional trays). Retaped the box, used the supplied prepaid UPS shipping label and sent it back.

Kitchen Resources could not have made this any easier. With a 12 year warranty that is truely honored. Kitchen Resources should be proud of themselves and their products!

What an expensive piece of metal!That is all this thing is.Unless I was sold a defective machine, which Austin Air claims they didn't, this machine is crappy! Does nothing to clean the air, its noisy and the fan is annoying at best, but it doesn't clean anything! I used it on HIGH for 1 week and the pet dander and odor were still there.My bird flapped its wings and it was dust everywhere around the machine, but it all nicely dropped to the floor and on top of furniture, nothing was cleaned out of the air.DON'T BUY IT!

Tribest Purewise Water Distiller Review

You can tell ALOT about a company when they have a no return policy unless the product is defective.
Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until after my purchase.
The machine takes over 4.5 hours to produce less than one gallon of water.
The purpose of buying this distiller was to save money from buying bottled water from the store. Well, the machine runs for about 5 hours.
The electricity is going to cost more than the water was.
I have one gallon jugs here and the machine when finished, does NOT fill a one gallon jug, not even close.

Buy a distiller from a company who has a return policy...which lets you return it because you used it and were unhappy with it's performance.
I would say 90% of these distiller companies will only let you return it if you didn't use it. Then you charge you a restocking fee on top of your shipping charges to return it.

This is the first time I've purchased an air purifier not based on the cadr, so I was a little nervous.But it is great.From day one, the air in my bedroom has smelled very fresh.In addition, I purchased this because of a potential mold problem in my apartment.Since using it, I have experienced less symptoms than before.I like it so much, I'm thinking of purchasing another one for my second floor because the old Hunter I have isn't sufficient.

I would recommend this air purifier to anyone, especially if you have allergies.The only reason I didn't give this a 5-star rating is because it is a little noisy on high (although for normal uses, it probably wouldn't need to always be run on high like I'm doing because of my mold problem).Also, you have to have some place out of the way to put it as it must be set 8 inches from the wall with the air output facing away from the wall.

most people can't figure out how to turn it on for some reason. (uh, turn the handle a few inches?) ... very simple. very elegant looking.

i wish the part that holds the faucet to the counter was not so plastic! ... you can't get it tight ... so it moves around quite a bit. ... and if you tighten it down, it will break. (i didn't do that but you can see it will easily strip or break.)

it comes with a black and white part so it should work with many types of counter tops.

i got the brushed which looks good with my stainless steel faucet/sink. ... and it makes the jupiter so much nicer to own. (after you turn off the "melody" it chimes when it turns on! ... argh. that lasted all of 30 minutes before i muted that "feature")

This is the Culligan WSH-C125 shower head that Amazon used to sell for several dollars less, and it was eligible for free shipping. Now you have to go to HSN to pay what amounts to nearly twice as much because they slapped a new name on it?And they don't carry the filters here anymore either. Do yourself a favor and shop around. You can get this for less if you hunt for it.

I'm giving it three stars when the product itself should get four, IF it's available for a reasonable price. It is, but not here.

Aquascape SFA7500 7500gph Pond Pump Review

The company I worked used to use Aquascape products on all the ponds we installed. Almost all of their products are good, but their pumps. The pumps are the worse pumps created. The company was replacing these pumps on a regular basis. In my own pond I used their pump (3500 GPH), and I replaced it three times within the two year warranty. After about a month it makes a really loud humming noise that can be heard from a far away distance. After the third time, we decided to use it as a spare pump (it does hum also!) and go with a Little Giant pump. It works very well.

This is really the only option I know of that allow you to cook rice easily and safely, no nonstick BS. I have had this about 6 months and use it alot. Brown Rice comes out very well, def have to wash it 4 times at least, best to soak for awhile, sometimes I will let it soak from morn until eve, then cook it, let it stay on warm cycle. I also add a pinch of salt and olive oil. This can be used to make stews/soups.

Austin Air HealthMate+ Jr. Review

The unit was shipped to me directly from the manufacturer in a sturdy box. It is light enough for me to carry from room to room. The noise level is loud at the highest setting but I have no problem falling asleep or watching TV when set at the slowest speed.

I have been using this air purifier for a little over a month now. No complain. I have allergies but not the indoor type. It has something to do with polluted outdoor air. Therefore, I always keeps windows and doors close which leads to a stuffy house. Operating the central A/C or heat will take care of the stale air but expensive. The HealthMate takes care of this problem for me. Although I still have my allergy, at least I have fresh air at a low operating cost.

I did experience a small problem when ordering the unit from Healthy Air and Water Products. I ordered the "Plus" but received the the one without +. The vendor did take care of my complain immediately. He offered me an exchange with no charge. I settled for a credit back on the differences between the two models. Great, no hassle and I don't mind buying from them again.
