This filter acts as a direct replacement for the Whirlpool WHCF-SUF Undersink Filter (WHCF-SR is the Whirlpool Filter Replacement Name).Basically it does everything the original does, but costs about 1/3rd less than the official replacement (last time I bought one anyhow).As the directions say, make sure to have something to catch the extra water during the changeover (it loses a little bit of the extra in the filter, but doesn't spill much).Otherwise it's a very quick changeover.
One thing I noticed is that the first bit of water was a little more aerated than normal, but that resolved itself after a couple days.
No complaints.
