We are very pleased with this purchase. We've had it for about two months. You can really taste the difference in the water. No additional appliance to run (Deer Park dispenser was our previous water source).
One note: you have to turn the water faucet off as soon as the little door starts to raise up, otherwise it will overfill the reservior and either leak out around the handle area or "contaminate" your filtered water with water that has not yet been filtered.
I'm really glad that they're a "greener" company that recycles and we feel better about the reduction in energy use both by eliminating the delivery of water & running a hot/cold cooler constantly.
